Welcome! The Pleasant Vine Online is an extension of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church located in the Prospect neighborhood of Johnstown, PA. The Pleasant Vine will carry general information, services, and announcements of the church right here online.
Andrew W. Tilly has pastored the 84- year- old Prospect congregation for 43 years, and continues to tell the congregation and the community, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life", Romans.
Pleasant Hill serves its congregation and community through weekly worship service and Bible study, visitation of the sick and shut in, Baptist Youth Fellowship, and numerous Ministries for worship and service as well as evangelism and fellowship outside of its church walls.
Annually and in addition to all Christian observances, the church observes Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday commeration, Spring Revival, Church Anniversary, Pastor's Anniversary, and other annual days sponsored by the church ministries. The annual days are too numerous to mention and are posted as they are scheduled.
It is hoped that the Pleasant Vine Online will be a source for all to join Pleasant Hill online and in service.
